Flow Chemistry

We are experts in flow chemistry with deep experience of when it will make a difference. Our automated flow reactors can efficiently assess reaction conditions for the optimal result and can be used with solution and solid phase reagents and telescoped reactions.

Microfluidics

We also use microfluidic chips, with their miniaturised low dispersion environment, to optimise and control reactions where control of concentration and stoichiometry are crucial to success. Due to their small internal volume many experiments can be performed on milligrams of material.

Organometallic Chemistry

Flow chemistry can be used to successfully run reactions involving organometallics at higher temperatures than the equivalent batch reaction as well as separating reactive species generation and reaction. We have also pioneered the use of high concentration BuLi with in-situ dilution to improve chemistry outcomes.

Flow Peptide Synthesis

New Path co-developed a unique, patented flow peptide synthesiser with our partners Vapourtec. Separation of activation and coupling and on-line analytics enables the synthesis of challenging peptides including macrocyclic natural products, lanthipeptides and toxins.
